Steve is a Professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Michigan (UM) Medical School, a Research Scientist in the Department of Health Management and Policy in the UM School of Public Health, and a Research Scientist at the Ann Arbor VA’s Health Services Research and Development’s Center for Clinical Management Research. He has a particular interest in the appropriateness of the use of medical technology, quality of care, outcomes, and doctor-patient decision-making.
