Jessica Jones, PharmD, BCPS, BCCCP

Jessica Jones, PharmD is a board certified critical care pharmacist specialist at Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital and adjunct clinical faculty at Wayne State University Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy. She is highly engaged in optimizing sepsis and stroke care through designing electronic medical record clinical decision support to optimize clinical workflow. Dr. Jones is actively involved in state and national associations, with a particular focus on pharmacy advocacy. She is the 2024 President of the Southeastern Michigan Society of Health-System Pharmacists (SMSHP) and serves as a Michigan delegate for both the American Society of Hospital Pharmacy (ASHP) and the Michigan Pharmacists Association (MPA) House of Delegates. She has been a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM), ASHP, and the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP) for many years. Dr. Jones received her Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from Mercer University in 2010 and completed PGY1 and PGY2 Pharmacotherapy residencies at the Detroit Medical Center. In addition to sepsis, stroke, and pain/sedation strategies for the critically ill, she is passionate about improving clinician wellbeing and resilience.
